The Carriage House is the oldest building on the property. The structure was originally built by Asa Packer to service his mansion in 1861. When the two properties were sub-divided the Carriage House became part of the Harry Packer mansion due to its close proximity to the home, a mere 50 feet. The interior design mimics the splendor of a Victorian hunting lodge. Fox hunt scenes hang on the walls while dark greens, burgundies and plaids adorn the furnishings. The building currently houses six of our guest rooms, two of which are loft suites. Each room has a queen size bed and private bath with granite counter tops. Carriage House guests also have access to the mansion anytime they please. There is a Keurig coffee maker available to Carriage House guests as well as complimentary high speed wireless internet and a convenient parking area.
